Hooray for me! Will everyone hate me if I say that I haven’t found pop culture interesting in years, but now that I can mix and match my own media hype with social media I’m finding it more interesting.
I shouldn’t be too cynical though. It was seeing Queen fronted by American Idol Adam Lambert that made me say (like Tom Cruse in “Risky Business”) WHAT THE FUCK. I may as well.
That concert really changed the course of my life. Since I moved to Chicagoland I haven’t really been interested in live music too much. I’ve seen Tori Amos and the Cult but not much else. Now I’m checking out all the live show websites and kicking myself for not getting saving up for summer. I’ve had my tickets for Tori Amos and William Shatner (with the crew of TNG) since they went on presale, but now I have to divide my entertainment budget between ZZ Top with 60s legend Jeff Beck, The Cult, and Aerosmith. Not to mention Rob Zombie and just too many others to name.
The cosmos will forgive me. Next year I’ll be ready for them.

I’m still figuring out how all the buttons for all my social media work.
All right now, for the last time we’ll see if it works from my phone.
All right, we’re going to try this again!
So now we’re going to find out if my tumblr blog will post to twitter and facebook. Someday they’re all going to be the same website, I know. #fb
