Aspects 1-4-2017

Hooray for Moon in Aries, although it does appear there are going to be a lot of squares and oppositions tomorrow – everything does “feel” a little out of joint.  At least things are moving.  I spent my Xmas present Amazon gift card on a couple of books that I expect to make a big difference in my life – a biography of Paul Foster Case and Alan Moore’s novel, Jerusalem.  I just got the opportunity for a bunch of lucrative overtime this month, and I have continued with my cleaning binge.  Now that my comics are organized my entire life feels organized.

When everything was in Pisces (Moon, Venus, Mars) and Capricorn (Sun, Mercury) I realized how much Pisces is about death, and why my continuous thoughts about death are related directly to having Pisces rising.  Until I started following astrological cycles diligently it didn’t hit home that Pisces is death right before Aries is birth.  I was expecting Venus in Pisces to be release from tedious Aquarius, and it is, but it’s also a lot darker than I expected.  I was thinking that my emotions would be all otherworldly and iridescent but actually they’re very black and apathetic.  It will be interesting to note how the shift away from Capricorn affects them.

Still this is a beneficial lesson, as it is helping me understand my own habitual darkness, and where it fits in my own energy system.

I’m developing a more intimate relation with my ephemeris, beginning to make predictions and stuff, and even plan my year.  Also I’m going to be co-hosting a dreaming circle at the end of the month – Kara’s first public appearance, you might say.

With Mercury back in Sagittarius until next week, I plan to review my blog to see if there’s any similarity to what I experienced the last time.

I’m getting used to the entire cycle of the moon through the signs and I’m going to try to follow my seed-thoughts and feelings from today onward.

I find myself dwelling on Mars and Venus a lot.  Having them in Pisces is definitely better than having them in Aquarius.  Aquarius makes me nervous, Pisces is restful, if a little morbid, leaving me several weeks to contemplate their shift to Aries.  I’m going to try to set something up so I can watch that entire cycle, as well.

Aspects 12.25.2016

Looking forward to Mercury sextiling Neptune tomorrow.  I wonder what that will feel like.  This weekend has already been a blast in terms of communicating about Neptunian craziness.  I’ve been working on my various blogs.  All the aspects of Venus going along with Mars in Pisces and Moon in Scorpio – just as much fun as I was expecting it to be.  This morning I spent at least five hours in one of the most intense magical workings I’ve ever done, getting a ton written on various blogs, most of it secret though.  I’ll have to go back through and work with all the perceptions I captured.  But with that and other social media – Twitter, Pinterest, etc. – I’m really getting involved in the world in a way I never have been before.

Moon in Sagittarius should be fun but I bet I don’t get anything done.  UNLESS this working this morning has had an effect.  I was feeling my usual vague laziness and wondering how I could get over it to make some things happen, so I did this massive working with Kara, my angel of Mars, and it really took me boldly where I’ve never gone before.  It totally kicked my ass, which is what I wanted.  But now although I feel focused I’m also a little stunned.  It’s like I’m all in one piece but I’m too exhausted to move.

Actually I did the working and then I went to Xmas dinner with my housemates, and then I fell asleep.  Waking up, I’m still picking up the pieces.  And holy crap George Michael died.  That is scary – Bowie, Prince, and George Michael all in one year.  The world is obviously dying.

But that’s another blog entry.  As for astrological aspects, as I said I’m expecting to be coming up with something interesting to write tomorrow.  I’m going to find out the exact time and see what happens.

Aspects 12-11-2016

Sun in Sagittarius trining Uranus in Aries tomorrow could wind up with some kind of fiery surprise.

Moon’s gone into Gemini.  I’m feeling exceptionally magical.  I skipped working out and just did magical things instead, staying home and working on some good stuff I can’t even describe here.  I feel like I’m on the verge of a breakthrough.  I’m writing a lot and it’s fantastic.  On the other hand, Gemini has an evil aspect to it and I must admit that part of the progress I’m making is because I’m delving into the mysteries of evil.  This is giving my novels a big boost because it’s easier to write evil characters.

Saturn in Taurus went by quickly for me.  I wonder if that will be the case next month as well.  It’s something to watch for.  I can feel myself getting pulled into the swing of these repetitive voyages around the Zodiac.

Venus in Aquarius is really the big issue. It feels so ephemeral, like nothing is going on, but I know this is a bias – I can’t sense it simply because I am so used to focusing on other things.  Mars in Aquarius is easy.  It’s a little dry but I can understand the whole impersonal, societal impulse to power, the futuristic emptiness of it.  Venus in Aquarius is like, what the fuck could you possibly desire related to this sign?  I find Aquarius totally boring when it’s not stupid and evil.  Venus in Sagittarius, I could feel the wandering fire.  Venus in Capricorn, I made plans and moved forward.  Venus in Aquarius I suppose I can see in all the web-writing I’m doing.  It is fulfilling a desire, the desire to possess – I’m capturing experience by writing, feeling powerful as I craft each scene, and the subject of my writing is also very Aquarian.  But it still feels very shallow.  Maybe I’ll never feel satisfied with Aquarius.  Perhaps I should start planning for Venus in Pisces, and look to an even larger cycle, setting some intention for the round that will begin when Venus goes back to Aries.

I have to ask myself, what sign could Venus occupy that will make me happiest? I’ll have to wait months to find out I guess.

Daily Aspects 11-3-2016

Not much has changed since yesterday.  I wonder what the Mercury sextile Pluto did?  I was getting pretty fed up with life today, still feeling restless but getting a little more accepting of the general stupidity and pointlessness of life.  Today the Moon and Venus in Sagittarius (still?) have me wishing something more definite was happening, sick of wandering all over with vague bullshit and never getting anything done.  But then today at work I finally just wrote down everything I have to do and started working my way through the list.  I accomplished quite a bit.  This is continuing the trend of yesterday, when I finally looked up the duration of the current aspects to see when they would end.  So if I’ve got all this Sag going on maybe it’s leading me to take the “long view” and “aim high”.  It seems possible.

Then I went to a friend’s house and had one of the most amazing one-on-one shamanic healing sessions I’ve ever had.  Sun and Mercury in Scorpio were leading me to be esoteric and focused on death.  We planned to do a lot more work in the future.  There were other Scorpio issues going on between us.

I’ve been listening to Amy Winehouse today, and even though she was a Virgo, listening to her music is a pretty Scorpio thing to do. I love her ghost.

Mars in Capricorn really seems to be the crummiest thing going on lately.  It’s so harsh, like the whole world’s a barren desert.  This ugly election just makes America seem like a convenience store parking lot full of trash – both waste paper and waste people, hanging around with nothing to do but talk garbage.  I just have no enthusiasm for anything having to do with “the world out there”.

But the nice thing about Astrology is that if things suck you can just hang on until the next transit to see if things get better.  For instance the Moon goes into Capricorn tomorrow.  Perhaps the expansive Sag moon is clashing with Mars in Cap and tomorrow, even if the world is still a waste land, at least my subconscious will adapt to it so I feel more at home.

I’m not overjoyed at looking ahead to a whole week of this, but it does seem I’m getting used to it, settling down to get things done.
