Daily Aspects 11-3-2016

Not much has changed since yesterday.  I wonder what the Mercury sextile Pluto did?  I was getting pretty fed up with life today, still feeling restless but getting a little more accepting of the general stupidity and pointlessness of life.  Today the Moon and Venus in Sagittarius (still?) have me wishing something more definite was happening, sick of wandering all over with vague bullshit and never getting anything done.  But then today at work I finally just wrote down everything I have to do and started working my way through the list.  I accomplished quite a bit.  This is continuing the trend of yesterday, when I finally looked up the duration of the current aspects to see when they would end.  So if I’ve got all this Sag going on maybe it’s leading me to take the “long view” and “aim high”.  It seems possible.

Then I went to a friend’s house and had one of the most amazing one-on-one shamanic healing sessions I’ve ever had.  Sun and Mercury in Scorpio were leading me to be esoteric and focused on death.  We planned to do a lot more work in the future.  There were other Scorpio issues going on between us.

I’ve been listening to Amy Winehouse today, and even though she was a Virgo, listening to her music is a pretty Scorpio thing to do. I love her ghost.

Mars in Capricorn really seems to be the crummiest thing going on lately.  It’s so harsh, like the whole world’s a barren desert.  This ugly election just makes America seem like a convenience store parking lot full of trash – both waste paper and waste people, hanging around with nothing to do but talk garbage.  I just have no enthusiasm for anything having to do with “the world out there”.

But the nice thing about Astrology is that if things suck you can just hang on until the next transit to see if things get better.  For instance the Moon goes into Capricorn tomorrow.  Perhaps the expansive Sag moon is clashing with Mars in Cap and tomorrow, even if the world is still a waste land, at least my subconscious will adapt to it so I feel more at home.

I’m not overjoyed at looking ahead to a whole week of this, but it does seem I’m getting used to it, settling down to get things done.
