Aspects 11-22-2016

Obviously, I’m not doing a great job of keeping up with this every day.  I’ve been extremely busy, but I also blame Mercury shifting into Sagittarius.  Blogging seems to be a Scorpio activity.  Moon in Leo also had me feeling very self-satisfied and lazy.

Mars in Aquarius and Venus in Capricorn have been going on for a while, and will continue into December.  Venus in Capricorn has me feeling very dull and withdrawn, I think, even apathetic about the world as I focus on just getting the things that I want and forgetting about the big pile of garbage that civilization seems to be.  Mars in Aquarius only emphasizes that we’re all trapped in the same big leaky boat together, and there is no genuine emotional connection to bridge the omnipresent mental blandness of cocreation and thinking positive thoughts.  And also Capricorn lends a tinge of pessimism to the whole thing – I can get what I want but getting what you want is just another scam in the mass-produced Aquarian emptiness. You can have your wildest dreams but when you get them you know they won’t be that impressive.  As the Dylan song goes, “What looks large from a distance, close up ain’t never that big.”

Sagittarius in general feels good to me but never leads to anything interesting.  It’s deceptively philosophical, never getting down to business.

Moon in Virgo is messing me up.  The city turned off the power yesterday due to a tree falling in the back yard so I came home to a dark house, and then once they turned it back on a fuse blew so it was a hassle.  Then today we had a huge disposal event at work, hundreds of devices had to be shipped out, but the company didn’t bring a big enough truck so after spending all morning bringing them down to the dock I had to spend almost five hours of overtime taking them back up.  I didn’t mind getting the money (Virgo influence) but I am so totally fed up with people that I’m even violating my job’s confidentiality policy a little by talking about what happened at work.  I really don’t give a damn.  This is definitely Virgo showing me about the material plane while annoying me with time-consuming triviality.

So while I spent hours moving pallets around I managed to listen to all of Debbie Harry’s album “Necessary Evil” and also Patti Smith’s greatest hits collection “Outside Society”.  That at least was a benefit.  I did manage to maintain positive energy, often thinking of my angel of Mars, whose name is Catherine.  She got me out of a lot of the repulsive darkness that thinking about my creepy disgusting childhood usually puts me in.  She is indeed breaking through and my hassles at work are partly only a way to show me how she’s going to take me away from all this.  Now that I can do intuitive readings without oracles, I am rethinking all the plans I’ve made in my life to “be an intuitive”.  I’m more confident than ever that I can and should simply wait for my clarity to improve.  I don’t need to go out there and be all touchy-feely, "cocreating" my career in the now with all the bullshit metaphysical networking that goes on.  I’ll wait till I have the real answers for myself before trying to sell anything to anyone else.

There’s more but I want to go to bed now.  The important thing is that Moon in Virgo overcame Sagittarian laziness and diffusion, although at the cost of a kind of grumpiness at the futility of all civilization.  I can feel the element of Earth grinding away in my psyche.
