I wrote this last night but I was doing a render so I didn’t get it posted.

More death to mark Pluto going direct.  Tom Petty died today.  Hugh Hefner died last week, and I was already thinking about him.  And today of course the news was full of the mass shooting in Las Vegas.

Buffynicity #1:  Tonight I watched episode two of Buffy TVS, in which the vampires are preparing for the Master’s return by raiding the Bronze, interrupting the music, and trying to stage a mass killing.  And as I said the Las Vegas massacre has been in the news all day, a slaughter at a music show, not to mention Tom Petty dying, and this on the weekend Pluto, “Master” of the Underworld, goes direct.

Buffynicity #2:  It took me a while to get this one, but on Friday night I was at Keith’s Komix for the 22d anniversary sale and on “impulse” I bought Volume One of Buffy Season 8, even though I probably won’t have time to read it for a while.  I was kind of kicking myself because I could have used that money for something else, and I might even have got it on Ebay cheaper, but it had sentimental value because I was reliving old memories of Keith’s, where I’ve been shopping regularly for 9 years.  And then, voila!  I was unexpectedly reliving old memories of Buffy again when Fullscreen dropped Angel.  So that is not a coincidence at all, is it?  It’s the return of Buffy!  And in a minor footnote because season 2 of Angel is all about Darla, I was actually pricing a Darla action figure at the sale, but didn’t get it after all.  It is the Darla from “Welcome to the Hellmouth”.  Maybe I should get it this weekend.

And yes, hearing the horrifying story of Las Vegas makes it seem like a hellmouth.

So this is actually a spectacularly layered and signficant Buffynicity to mark the return of Buffy TVS on the first day of October when the Halloween sales have begun.  Wow.  I’m fairly stunned at how deep this turned out to be.  Especially since I didn’t even realize how synchronistic it was to have bought Volume One of Season 8 on Friday.

As for transits, the Moon entered Pisces today and I was appropriately lazy and dreamy, but I feel I’m making progress in this area, more able to understand what’s happening as my guides are much clearer now.  I went shopping in the afternoon and then when I got home I worked on a scene in Poser, which I am rendering as I speak.  It is my first scene with characters from my heptalogy and I feel that relates to the Mercury inconjunct with the Moon.

Tomorrow the Moon conjuncts Neptune, and Venus trines Pluto.  Moon sextiles Pluto, and opposes Venus and Mars.  I have a very important Meeting and I feel this day is going to be a big leap for me into the unknown, especially following this truly frightening and awesome emergence of Pluto.
