Well, moon into Aquarius has me feeling pretty forgiving. This is an interesting thing to notice about myself. I’ve always found Aquarius to be very “nice”, if a little shallow, and I’ve never been able to get an intuitive grasp on the evil that people say lurks at the heart of this sign, even though one of the people who screwed me over hardest in my life was an Aquarius, she was such an idiot it’s hard to look back at her as anything but a joke. But I note this shift from Capricorn to Aquarius as similar to the Mars in Aquarius that’s reigned since the election. I’m not thinking about Trump’s presidency that much, I’m just going “Oh, well, everybody will just have to deal with it." Just like I have overtime tomorrow. It’s going to use up half my precious weekend but I’m just like "Oh, well, it’s a lot of money and the work won’t be too hard.”
Aquarius is fucked up for me, no doubt. It’s something to learn more about as time goes on. It’s just a gregarious sign that makes me shallow and apathetic. It’s probably the best sign to shoot heroin under.
The four planets in Sagittarius deal, even if it was just for a little while, really had Catherine, my angel of Mars, breaking on through to the other side here. My whole life has turned a corner because of her. It took a long time to lay the foundation but now I feel like I’m finally hitting the world head on, with her help. For instance I’ve started reposting pictures on my private Tumblrs and writing little stories as captions. I’m developing a “voice” for the web and it’s terribly exciting and exploratory for me – I am finding out so much about what images do to my feelings, both good and bad. For instance I really didn’t realize how monotonous and repetitive pictures of famous people are until I started writing stories about the scenes I see them in. So much of the appeal of popular entertainers is a cheap trick, just media companies preying on the willingness of ordinary people to make up their own reasons to like meaningless garbage. It’s funny.
But I’m able to explore my own preoccupations this way. It’s really moving me forward.
There aren’t too many new aspects today but at least the squares ended. Sun square Neptune had me feeling kicked out of my own fantasy life, but then a new set of images replaced them and now I feel much more solid. It’s amazing how Mercury and Venus in Capricorn are working together so clearly – all these little emotional snippets I’m writing, little bursts of text and image containing emotions and fantasy. It’s shows how powerful Astrology is and it shows how real a change the revelation of Catherine is. I’m very excited about the future – another Aquarian trait I guess. I really feel now that I can ride the currents of astrology to get my life organized and that Catherine is going to give me that legendary “something to say” that I always felt I needed to engage with the world on a deeper level. And of course keeping up with my blog is evidence that momentum is building. 2017 is looking to be a banner year for me.
I’m especially looking forward to my post-Xmas vacation, the longest I’ve taken in a couple of years. Thanksgiving Weekend was a turning point and the potentials are only getting deeper. I’m going to look up aspects for those days and make predictions now – by which I mean tomorrow or Monday night.
