Aspects 1-2-2017

As for aspects for yesterday and probably today, the Moon is in Pisces so I feel very otherworldly and cool but also kind of flaky and I don’t give a damn about anything.  Pisces is fun, and I look forward to Venus entering Pisces soon, but meanwhile I just feel very mutable and insubstantial, although I’m enjoying myself.  For instance, I’ve rearranged my comic book collection and I’m making a lot of headway in catching up with my reading.  I’m up to X-Men #104.  I remember reading these stories in high school.  it’s kind of amazing.  I had a friend who knew that I had been very traumatized as a child and he especially wanted me to read about Storm’s childhood trauma as a victim of war.  Reading it again 30 years later is liberating.  This is also very Piscean.

I’m making a mental note now to watch the end of the Mercury retrograde, to see if I feel any building of momentum as we move toward “direct” on the 7th.  The retrograde certainly coincided very nicely with my Xmas vacation, and I managed to use it to shift to a much higher level of vibration.

How I spent my Xmas vacation, Day X

Obviously, I stopped writing on Tumblr.  I had too much going on, and Mercury was retrograde anyway.  Here I am getting ready to go back to work tomorrow and just catching up.   I wrote on other web communities, however, and the general thrust is that I’m deciding who I want to be on the web, what tone of voice I want, and what the general emotional intention of my writing is to be.  After I settle those things, I’ll probably be able to put up my website as an intuitive.  I’m also writing a lot of fiction.

On Wednesday my parents visited and we went to the Field Museum.  I sat in the Terra Cotta Warriors exhibit and thought about reincarnation. Then we saw the new J.K. Rowling movie.  So now I’ve seen the 3 big “zeitgeist” movies that came out this season – Star Wars, Rowling, Doctor Strange.

Carrie Fisher’s death was a dramatic turning point – the sudden collapse of a system of possibilities, a sense of the future.  Only days after the premiere of “Rogue One” it was obviously a synchronous occasion, giving a brief glimpse into the cosmic patterns underlying the world of entertainment.

Alan Thicke died too, a bittersweet reminder of a time long ago when the world of entertainment was less sinister.  A reminder to be kind to people.

All in all, I was expecting a massive transformation from this time off, and I got one.  My ability to see higher dimensions is better than ever before. This game of web-writing has shifted, crossed the watershed from an exploration of self where I search for the meaning of self-revelation, to one where I am selecting the image with more careful intention.  What serves the angelic realm?  Who am I supposed to be?  All the signs say I’m getting answers this year.

I found most of the issues of “Moonshadow” – a pivotal comic series from my youth – in the 50 cent bins at Graham Crackers Comics, and also a bunch of “The ‘Nam”.  I reorganized and sorted my comic collection so now I expect to get a bunch of it read this year.  I was down there again today, contemplating the “dark spot of being”.  Instead of a nebulous wandering sensation in my inner mind I’m moving toward a focus and sense of where I am that I’ve never had before, which is very nice.   But something has to shift because the dark spot is very content to remain secret and so now all emphasis must shift toward the outer.

Monday

Woke up weighing 242 pounds, but not too worried.  Read Grand Morrison’s ‘Happy’.  It was OK, not earth-shattering, but it had some resonance for me.  Then I went to run.  I have a lot good going on, I’m getting a handle on life.  I’m going to try to get some specifics down in OneNote about the mental states that are bothering me.  Carrie Fisher is definitely very real and being very helpful.

I have to figure out where to keep track of my thoughts.  Here I am at three in the afternoon, wondering how to move forward.

I went to Edgewater and had a gyro.  I was having an interesting sense of closure there in the restaurant, and I came up with the concept “the dark spot of self”.  At Graham Crackers I found some old Dixon “Birds of Prey” in the 50 cent boxes.  At Dice Dojo they were setting up for AD&D night — all the tables were pushed together.  I bought another deck box.  Carrie is bringing me up against the need to articulate exactly what happened.  One important thing is that I was going to try to recreate whatever it is that holds me in those places here at home, with fiction.

I came home and I was a little tired so I took a nap.  It’s now 9:40. Amy Winehouse came back for a little to show me what’s changed since the last time I saw her.  I sense a lot of potential for tonight.

I just looked at that and then I went into the “grinding”, the blanking from the right side of my face.  Something has changed though, there is a greater sense that there could be people with me, or I could find some people to relate to.
