Hooray for Moon in Aries, although it does appear there are going to be a lot of squares and oppositions tomorrow – everything does “feel” a little out of joint. At least things are moving. I spent my Xmas present Amazon gift card on a couple of books that I expect to make a big difference in my life – a biography of Paul Foster Case and Alan Moore’s novel, Jerusalem. I just got the opportunity for a bunch of lucrative overtime this month, and I have continued with my cleaning binge. Now that my comics are organized my entire life feels organized.
When everything was in Pisces (Moon, Venus, Mars) and Capricorn (Sun, Mercury) I realized how much Pisces is about death, and why my continuous thoughts about death are related directly to having Pisces rising. Until I started following astrological cycles diligently it didn’t hit home that Pisces is death right before Aries is birth. I was expecting Venus in Pisces to be release from tedious Aquarius, and it is, but it’s also a lot darker than I expected. I was thinking that my emotions would be all otherworldly and iridescent but actually they’re very black and apathetic. It will be interesting to note how the shift away from Capricorn affects them.
Still this is a beneficial lesson, as it is helping me understand my own habitual darkness, and where it fits in my own energy system.
I’m developing a more intimate relation with my ephemeris, beginning to make predictions and stuff, and even plan my year. Also I’m going to be co-hosting a dreaming circle at the end of the month – Kara’s first public appearance, you might say.
With Mercury back in Sagittarius until next week, I plan to review my blog to see if there’s any similarity to what I experienced the last time.
I’m getting used to the entire cycle of the moon through the signs and I’m going to try to follow my seed-thoughts and feelings from today onward.
I find myself dwelling on Mars and Venus a lot. Having them in Pisces is definitely better than having them in Aquarius. Aquarius makes me nervous, Pisces is restful, if a little morbid, leaving me several weeks to contemplate their shift to Aries. I’m going to try to set something up so I can watch that entire cycle, as well.
