On Monday I was shopping and I saw a book on the stands, “Mr. Mercedes”, by Stephen King.  On Tuesday I coincidentally saw a web article about the TV show based on the book.  Tonight on the train I looked over and saw a woman reading this book – which is unrelated to Stephen King’s book except the main character is named Mercedes Thompson.  The eerie thing is that years ago I bought a deck of Magic: The Gathering card sleeves with this very image on them, for weird supernatural reasons I shall not reveal here!  So the only reason I noticed this woman’s book, which just happened to have a “Mercedes” in it, was this cover art.
