The Buffy Diaries 1-6-2021

1/6/2021 11:49 AM Buffynicity #1: I got a haircut on the way home and as I began episode one of season two, The One With Ross’s New Girlfriend, both Chandler and Joey had gotten haircuts from Phoebe.

This was exceptionally encouraging because I’m still a little tired from 28 days of work and I had a couple of annoying things happen today.

On the other hand I was having amazing experiences after work today, of the three-dimensional kind, energies so powerful they seemed to create an alternate space around me.  Something very dramatic is happening.

Buffynicity #2, which actually happened earlier:  yesterday I created a cool new picture of Jennifer from The Darkening of the Light with red hair.  She reminded me both of Tanya Roberts and Tori Amos.  I was thinking about Tori Amos a lot, and what if she did various different songs like “Rise” by P.I.L. and “Piano Man” by Billy Joel.  Then after work, at the gas station, “Piano Man” was on the sound system.  I considered it a Buffynicity, but I forgot about it until half an hour later at the barber shop (which related to the above Buffynicity) I heard “Horse With No Name” on the sound system, which always reminds me of Genvieve.  This reminded me of “Piano Man”, and then the very next song was “She’s Got A Way” by Billy Joel.  So two Billy Joel songs at two places 16 miles apart is definitely a synchronicity.

I thought that was good enough, but the haircut Buffynicity was really spectacular.  How many times do characters in sitcoms talk about getting haircuts?  And haircuts seem to be a continuing theme, although I’m stopping right now and switching to That 70’s show.

1/6/2021 12:09 PM It’s very weird to be watching two sitcoms at once.  But it’s nice, energy is flowing in a way it hasn’t before.
