Aspects 11-29-2016

My expectations for the new moon in Sagittarius have been fulfilled.  Actually they started last night when I finally cracked open my “Uncanny X-Men Omnibus” and began to fulfill a lifelong dream of reading the entire Claremont continuity of that magazine.  I was filled with a new sense of vitality.  Ironically, this vitality has to do with the “coalescing” I was writing about yesterday, all the little darknesses of my life coming together as one.  I think this has a lot to do with the Sun-Sag/Neptune-Pisces square.  I didn’t know what that would be but now it seems that the darkness feels dark because it cuts me off from my daydream – associated with Neptune-Pisces.  So with all this Sagittarius energy – Sun, Mercury, Moon, it kind of threw me over into identifying with that realm and the fire of that sign worked “against” the watery daydream.  I felt this darkness creeping through my old habitual fantasies and dissociation. I felt totally cut off from the past and everything familiar.  It’s like the darkness I’ve been avoiding has become my life, but in a good way as I have this youthful X-Man vitality from the New Moon, confidence that I am moving into a new, more focused realm of activity, ready to get things done.  Mars-Aquarius trine Jupiter-Libra gives some force to that as well.  Jupiter rules Sag, after all, and feels very expansive anyway.  So I’m very happy with the way things are going.

Furthermore, yesterday I had a few surprises happen that seemed to coincide with the Venus-Sag/Uranus-Aries square, and today they kept going.  Some vendors arrived a day early, unannounced, but I went with the flow and we got some things out of the way.  Also it looks like the surprise tasks that got heaped on my department yesterday will be a little simpler than it first seemed – at the very least we’re getting them over with.  So there were some more surprises in the morning but by afternoon everything was running smoothly again.

I am very happy about this, because it seems like my expectations were fulfilled.  I really feel I have a new approach to certain issues in my life that coincided with this new moon in the same sign as two other planets.  And I have a more practical understanding of the Sun squaring Neptune, how my sense of self divided off from the daydream I usually wander in, so when the square is over perhaps I’ll be able to keep that distinction. This is interesting because my Angel of Mars is in Sagittarius in the ninth house, but Neptune is also in the ninth house, in Scorpio.  So this seems to indicate that I should more actively consult Catherine with regard to this dreamlike state I’m always in.  She does seem to come through very clearly in that region, but it seems her Sagittarian arrows are to be applied to some fixed, Scorpion target?

With the same aspects continuing tomorrow, I hope to look at this Sun/Neptune square a little more closely.  I wonder if there will be more Venus/Uranus surprises?
