Aspects 11-16-2016

I had this great blog entry written last night that I was thinking was my best ever, and then my power went out and I guess I lost the whole thing.  That might be considered a Gemini Moon happening.  Moon moving into Cancer now makes me feel very happy, aligning with Venus in Cancer in my birth chart.  I’m getting things I want, and enjoying them, and keeping them.  This goes right along with Venus in Capricorn – making lists and plans and getting my ducks in a row to get all the things I want.  Sun in Scorpio still has me feeling like not a part of the world, but at least with Mars in Aquarius I don’t feel so bad about work.  Everybody has to work right?  I’m not doing so bad despite the crazy election results.

I still feel totally numb about Trump.  It feels like the whole tenor or meaning of the country is going to shift, but I’m not sure it’s going to be in Trumps favor.  I keep  thinking that in the long run he may screw it up just like Dubya.  But more importantly I have seen this year how totally hopeless, futureless, and boring America is, politically, and I no longer have any reservations about saying so.  Mercury in Sagittarius with Mars and Aquarius is a good aspect for developing this new articulate approach.

I’m going to remember that Cancer is actually a very pleasurable sign for me.  Moon there feels very much like “home”, I’ll have to watch the other planets as they make their way through.

Aspects 11-14-2016

Obviously, I’ve been pretty lousy at keeping up with “daily” aspects.  Although I’ve thought about it every day, I’ve just been too busy to do it.  I suspect part of it is the shift from Mercury in Scorpio to Sagittarius.  Blogging is a very Scorpio activity, it seems, secretive and cunning.

I’m still so bloody relieved that Mars is out of Capricorn that I can’t even bring myself to give a damn about the election.  Mars in Aquarius actually seems about right for this everyone should be working on behalf of society, even if they’re shallow and evil.  I’m not worried about that stuff because my connection with my angels is better than ever.  Catherine, my angel of Mars, is coming through loud and clear.  I feel focused as I haven’t been in years.  Venus in Capricorn is interesting, as I’d hoped, but I can’t quite identify the flavor of it except I feel more like I know what I want out of life.  Cardinal earth seems to resonate well with my cardinal water – Venus in Cancer. It’s about going for what you want, and I am more grounded than ever before.

I was hoping Mercury in Sagittarius would have me unleashing a lot of arrows at the world via my blog but I’m finding myself to expansive and affable.  I’m going to have to force myself to focus more.

So the Supermoon was this morning and as a surprise I suddenly got a flat tire on my way to work – not a slow drain but a sudden blowout going full speed on Touhy.  I pulled into the parking lot of a Target.  It took several hours to straighten out, reminding me of some aspects of my life that are yet “ungrounded” but on the whole not unpleasant, as I got everything taken care of by the early afternoon.

And tonight I finally got the headpones I ordered on ebay only to discover that they don’t work.  What a drag!

That emotional situation I was agonizing over during the whole time of Venus in Sagittarius has worked out rather well, and seems to be resolving into concrete steps in full accord with Venus in Capricorn.  I’ll look forward to Mercury in Capricorn brining some more regularity with the blog.

The man ran for president for a year and a half, and is surprised that the presidency is such a big job. Meanwhile, his aides were under the impression that the Obama staffers would stick around and be working for them now.

The Trump administration hasn’t even started yet, and it’s already a fiasco

The incoming president doesn’t know how the presidency works, or what the responsibilities of the office actually are. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Yup, that’s me. You’re probably wondering how I ended up in this situation.

Deadpool Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Character Swap

Deadpool made a lot of unusual moves that paid off in a big way, including the decisions to go R-rated and to stick to a midrange budget (as opposed to the gazillion-dollar price tags that most superhero movies get nowadays).
