Just got back from Brian’s astrology salon, the “lines” of structure that I see in the air were clearer than ever, and also the intuitive sense of what it means to have conversations about astrology. Although people try to psychologize it, Astrology is actually an extremely magical process. It makes me dizzy thinking about it. However the necessary skills are being developed. I saw someone there I haven’t seen in a long time, not since before I was able to do readings without the assistance of oracles. I told them they should get in contact with me again if they want to talk. I’ll probably wind up doing it for free. But she reminded me of how many years I struggled with these issues of incoherence, an inability to express myself. The sheer length of time it took me to put these perceptions together into a useful form makes the whole process slightly ridiculous – especially since there doesn’t seem to be anything for me to do with these powers except make money as some kind of life coach. Nothing can actually change in this world, for all the social media cheerleading going on about how free we are and how we can do anything, no one does anything in this world that isn’t part of some hidden design. No one defies the energies of astrology, for instance.
But I shouldn’t gripe because I can feel answers coming. Even more reassuring is the sense that I’m finally getting some consistent questions to ask – the chaotic states of nameless sensations in the interior of my mind are slowing down and becoming observable, identifiable at last. I even begin to have hope that I can soon find out why my life has been so strange.
It’s like a grinding pressure on the inside of my face and no one I’ve ever known has been able to tell me what it is. All I ever got were cheerleading slogans about “getting grounded” – “Oh, you have a terrible psychic suffering I can’t identify. Well first you need to learn to be fully functional while you have this suffering and then I’ll use my magical spirit-power to help you." Or more simply "Come back when you don’t need an answer." That is so foundational to the goofiness of our modern cocreative economy – the endless round of weekend seminars in hotels, internet radio shows and group hugs. Non-answers for people who have trained themselves to make everything fit because they’re so desperate to prove how responsible they are, how determined they are to make the "choice” to “manifest”.
Someday I’ll develop an entire article about the insipidity of all that rubbish. But for now I’m not even going to bother to go back and edit this – I’m just glad I said it. Things have been going pretty good for me lately. I got a bunch of answers tonight at the salon, and I bet I’ll get some more as I go to sleep now. Goodnight, world.
Since making a “clean break” from Marvel after Avengers: Age of Ultron “broke him a little bit,” Joss Whedon has been up to (much ado about) nothing, really.
The red panda cubs born 3 ½ months ago at Chicago’s Lincoln Park Zoo have come out out of hiding and are now on display! The zoo’s curator of mammals says the cubs are ‘very small, but they grow super fast.’ The critters are named in honor of the other Cubs who call Chicago home: They are named Sheffield and Waveland, the streets on each side of Wrigley Field. http://abcn.ws/2e62Xg9
