What is entertainment, now that the entertainment business no longer seeks to genuinely entertain, but only to siphon away our money with references to things that entertained people in the past – car chases, pictures of models, etc.?  The entire Earth is now totally paralyzed by the world wide web.  No one can afford to annoy anyone because everything is going to be recorded digitally and echoed around social media forever and ever.  We have become a nation of drones. 

I don’t have time right now to go into depth with this, but this post is going to develop into some kind of intellectual response to the river of slime that is the entertainment business, some kind of insulation against it that still allows for fun to be had.
