This is part 2 because of yesterday’s typo.
It’s been so long since I’ve been in the daily swing of Buffynicity that I barely even noticed that I had four of them tonight – and really significant ones, too.
Buffynicity #1: Today I was looking at a figure on Renderosity, a girl with leopard spots for Victoria 4.

Then tonight Cordelia was dressed as a big cat girl for Halloween. This was especially significant because Kara is making a major appearance today, which I’ll write about in a moment.
Buffynicity #2: On the way to the health club I ran into an old friend I haven’t seen in months. We talked as we walked all the way down the sidewalk together. He is a channel as well. Tonight I watched the Halloween episode in which Ethan, Rupert’s old friend and fellow magician, is reintroduced to the show.
Buffynicity #3: Today I was looking up the feast day of Saint Bartholomew, which is August 24th, and noticing that that day is usually around the time of the Wizard World comicon, which I attend every year. Then tonight in the first episode I watched, the frat episode, they were talking about making a human sacrifice on the 10th day of the 10th month – so there’s another example of checking for “feast days”.
Buffynicity #4: A telepathic Buffynicity, I was actually thinking about human sacrifice right before I went to watch the episode, although that might not be such a surprise since I watched the first part of it last night and I knew what was coming.
Buffynicity #5: A rock solid Buffynicity! Tonight just for the hell of it I sat down and read 4 or 5 comics – Black Bolt, Cable, and a few others. I was really stacking them up, taking them off the backlog pile until an “Army at War” comic was on top, which starred Seargeant Rock. Then tonight (I was totally not expecting this) in the Halloween episode, Xander becomes a soldier when he wears an ensorcelled Halloween costume. This experience stays with him through the entire series, and I bought this particular comic back during my last viewing of Buffy, when Anya and Xander mentioned Sergeant Rock on the show. I remember that Sunday I was in Edgewater and there was some kind of Buffynicity around me acquiring this, which I blogged about although I’m not going to look it up now.
Buffynicity #6: I’m not sure how perfect the timing is, but in fact, Halloween is coming up next week so even though it’s still a week a way, it is a bit Buffynicitous for the Halloween episode to come up now.
Buffynicity #7: Now that I think of it, just yesterday I was posting that I had a daydream that Sarah Michelle Gellar was like my old friend from another planet, and then I had the Buffynicity of her looking like an alien on Twitter, and tonight Giles’ old friend Ethan shows up again. Not Earth-shattering, I know, but possibly signficant.
I also had some synchronicities in the comics I read, but I didn’t bother to remember them.
Finally, the big bonus synchronicity, yesterday I noted that today the Moon is entering Capricorn, which usually brings money hassles, often with my car, and there is also a major Moon/Uranus tranit so I was expecting the unexpected. This morning, right as unexpectedly expected, there was a light on my dashboard. I spent several minutes dreading expensive car problems, but then looked it up to find it was just the low tire pressure light, coming on because it’s been so cold and wet the last couple of days here at the change to winter weather.
So that was a major validation!
So as I said I was having my surprise with the low-tire-pressure light around the time the Moon conjuncted Saturn this morning, feeling a little pressured for a few minutes but ultimately feeling vindicated that my predictions about the Uranus transit came true.
Then the Moon squared Chiron and Mercury trined Neptune and I was feeling pretty focused, getting a lot of work done and feeling in control. I was thinking a lot about the upcoming party I’m going to read at on Friday, and (unusual for a Chiron transit) not listening to music but instead focusing on Kara. The Mercury/Neptune transit was especially powerful as Kara has “broken through” to me as never before. I finally feel like I’m more “over there” in her world with her than here in this physical plane. This was also related to the trine with Uranus, as I have been focusing a lot on my other angels recently and now here she is blasting away, taking me to a whole new level of spirit contact right on time for Halloween weekend.
Then the Moon was VOC all afternoon. I caught up on a bunch of work and then tonight I messed around, instead of working on 3D I caught up on comic books. The Moon entered Capricorn and I wound up having the most Buffynicities I’ve had in weeks as Kara continued to blaze through into this world for me and the Moon squared Mars. My predictions were accurate and this was an unexpectely powerful day.
Looks like nothing going on tomorrow until the Moon sextiles Neptune and Mercury in the evening. I’ll be stopping at the library, which is very Mercurial, and I expect to continue with Kara at this new level. Mostly though I just want to muddle through the Capricorn Moon getting work done.
