The Buffy Diaries 5-11-2017

10:32 PM 5/11/2017  I totally forgot about my intention to conceive of a story or something for the Mars/Neptune aspect, but I actually did come up with a lot of new stuff for one of the characters in my heptalogy.  It started around the time of the Moon trining Chiron as I was riding the train downtown to work this morning.  I started listening to “Hunger Strike” by Temple of the Dog and I realized it will be great “soundtrack music”.  During the rest of the morning it evolved that this would be good for his funeral, when the rest of his friends have to carry on without him.  I got a whole sense of his presence and personality which is really giving new life to the plot, and also a lot of personal conversations between two of the other characters.  I got a lot of stuff for the “old kingdom” scenes and figured out a major piece of the puzzle – how to depict that whole fall, and one of the main characters in the fall.  So it’s really swinging.

So since I had the main title to Game of Thrones on repeat a lot, I decided that I’d start repeating other songs.  I got really into “Hunger Strike”, and I also listened to “Hooks in You” by Iron Maiden for the first time in more than 20 years.  I tried a little Kamelot and Trans-Siberian Orchestra as well.

I was coming up with a lot of stuff for my heptalogy but then I wasn’t really doing much but mindless work until noon. I did suddenly feel “prompted” to check the clock two minutes after the Moon entered Sagittarius and I felt a definite shift out of the VOC into a more active state.  I suddenly remembered a big document that I had to prepare, over 250 items for a bulk update to the inventory system, and began working on it.  People started e-mailing me to make requests.

I was really feeling the Mars square Neptune transit, I’d been hoping to get to lunch but then this bulk upload I had been working on for an hour went bad on me, coughing up a lot of errors, so I had to start picking over it line by line and doing it in batches, while the computer froze from overwork.  It was delaying my lunch!  So I was a little upset but it was very astrologically appropriate, the Mars energy seemed to be disrupting my Neptunian bliss a little, although I suspect it was partly responsible for the good ideas in the morning.

Then after lunch I continued to work well but right before Mercury trined Saturn at 3:14 I began hitting snags again, which made me worry I would have to stay late and mess up my evening plans.  It’s interesting that Saturn aspects often bring a literal time crisis with them.  However after the trine on the way home I was feeling good, if a little tired.

I was home for a few minutes and then I headed out to see Paul Selig at the Wilmette Theater.  It was amazing, and very healing.  I didn’t watch Buffy at all, and I probably won’t see her tomorrow, either.

So my predictions for the timing of the transits were good, but they were a little more disturbing than I’d expected.  However in general the day went by very well and ended with an amazing attunement from one of the more influential channels in America.  It was too complicated to write about right now, but it was certainly a healing revelation.

I’ll be off work and heading home tomorrow when the Moon squares Neptune and then sextiles Jupiter.  It should be exciting because there’s a circle. But before that I have a one-on-one session right when the Moon opposes Mars.  That means the energy will break then, which is a good sign.  But I’m going to bed now, except to note that the most interesting aspect of the weekend looks to be the Moon conjuncting Saturn at 5:56 pm, when I’ll be packing up after the IANDS meeting.  This makes me think the meeting will be good, and there will be good information about my angels.
