Mr. Bannon remains the president’s dominant adviser, despite Mr. Trump’s anger that he was not fully briefed on details of the executive order he signed giving his chief strategist a seat on the National Security Council, a greater source of frustration to the president than the fallout from the travel ban.

So, let me get this right: Donald Trump is signing executive orders HE IS NOT READING.

Just … just … flarg.

Aspects 2-6-2017

Today has worked out much better than I expected.  My alignment with astrological forces is certainly deepening.

Moon in Gemini, however, is annoying as fuck.  It’s the worst place for the moon that I’ve identified so far, I just feel totally shallow like I don’t care about anything.  I was certainly feeling the sextile this morning between the Moon and Uranus in Aries.  I couldn’t think about any damn thing, I just wanted to surf social media and tell the whole world to fuck off.  My iPod headphones broke this morning, too.  Fortunately I have a spare pair here at home.

Sun-Aquarius semisextiling Pluto in Capricorn was a little harder to identify, but I think there were some things that went on.  I do feel more independent, more like I can get away from the collective of America, into my own little world.  Moon trining Jupiter lent some impulse to that, even though it’s retrograde.  I am getting better boundaries.  Maybe they gave me some momentum to feel I could just “take off” from America the way it is and go my own way.  Moon opposing Saturn was strangely pleasant – a lot like Moon opposing the Sun.  I’ll have to remember this and see if this happens again.  I believe this is because it made the darkness clearer, easier to work with.  I could almost get a hold of it, it really felt palpably real, and then after the aspect I started to unwind.  I’m feeling pretty good about life now, relaxing in the void-of-course – although one reason I’m feeling good is that I feel I’m getting farther away from America and the brutal, disgusting people I’ve known in my past, like my business with the life I’ve led is almost done and I can move on now to better things, either a different lifestyle in this world, or another world completely.

Something really big is changing for me.  My out-of-control imagination is getting reined in.  Astrology is part of it.  Buffy the Vampire Slayer is also a part of it.  Maybe Buffy has magical healing powers!  I don’t know, but one thing that’s happening is that I haven’t been really interested in a television show in twenty years and getting interested in this one, watching it regularly, is bringing back a lot of old thoughts about art & entertainment, helping me detach from the collective hypnosis of pop culture.

I’m not sure what it is but something feels over with.  It feels like I can disinvolve myself from the scum of the world that has clung to me.  Or maybe that’s just the moon approaching inconjunct with Mercury, which happens right after it goes into Cancer early this morning.

Today worked out better than I expected, although I feel insubstantial and I attribute this to Gemini Moon which is now officially my least favorite sign for that planet.  It probably also has something to do with Jupiter retrograde, taking my mind off moving forward so I can reassess everything.

I’m looking forward to Moon in Cancer, which is much more fun as I recall, and makes me feel much more myself.

And of course Mercury goes into Aquarius, and there’s a juicy Neptune trine in the evening.  Lot’s to look forward to if I can ride out the Moon squaring Mars and Venus.  Venus will be over as I get up for work, but Mars is right at the end of the workday.  We’ll have to see what all that’s about.

I just don’t feel like myself today.  I hope it’s just the moon.
