So Mercury is in Aquarius and I feel much more lighthearted, looking forward to watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer during my workouts for the duration of the Jupiter retrograde.
It’s about half an hour to the Moon-Cancer/Neptune-Pisces trine, and I must admit I am feeling closer to my own inner guidance than ever before – so close, in fact, that I’m keeping a lot of it a secret because it’s too powerful. I’m beginning to be able to visualize myself actually doing a lot of the things I’ve always wanted to do. It’s nice but not for public consumption.
I was wondering about the Venus and Mars squares with the Moon today. I was expecting the Venus square just before 6 am to go by with little fanfare but I actually overslept my alarm clock, right through the square, and then I was late for work. It wasn’t too bad though, no serious consequences.
The Mars-Moon square was more noticeable, I felt an intense pressure which I identified with Mars, and it was definitely opposed to my life in general. I felt uncomfortable with the status quo, but unlike a more frivolous aspect (like Moon-Gemini/Uranus-Aires recently), this one had me mostly sitting still, grinding the inner conflict away – it wasn’t totally unpleasant but it was like my life grabbing me and saying “hey, this has to change now, and I’m not letting you think about anything else until it does." It was pretty cool that the aspect was so clear. And it definitely lightened up and now I’m feeling much better waiting on this Neptune aspect which I must say has already paid off.
The thing is, Cancer Moon isn’t as boring and flighty as Gemini Moon, it even seems comfortable and familiar, but it also doesn’t feel very full. Cardinal water makes me feel like I could do something cool, but it’s really Scorpio that feels most satisfying.
And I’m thinking Mercury in Aquarius is significantly different from Capricorn. When I was writing before I felt really driven, like it was going somewhere. Now I feel like I’m just one of the gang. I wonder if this will go on? I was finding Aquarius conducive to writing but maybe that’s because Mercury-Capricorn was driving it. It’s really a major shift and one I’m going to have to pay attention to for a while. At least it’s different. This gives me the intuition that the whole cycle of Mercury through all twelve signs is going to be important to watch.
Now tomorrow should be interesting.
Moon opposing Pluto @ 0741
Inconjunct Sun @ 1054
Square Uranus @ 1252
Square Jupiter @ 1600
Inconjunct Saturn @ 1942
So no "pleasant” aspects at all. I wonder what it will mean? Not necessarily anything bad but how will it feel? I’m reluctant to think too much about it, I don’t want to make it worse than it has to be, but it will be interesting to find out.
