Aspects 2-1-2017

I was feeling the Moon-Neptune semisextile very powerfully this morning.  I felt I was getting amazing ethereal insights into the workings of the inner planes.  Neptune aspects are definitely something for me to look forward to in life.  It’s nice that the heavens can be so entertaining.  I also think that noticing them and working with them helps very much.  The sextile with the Sun, right as I got off work, was also very upbeat and energetic.  I usually try to get home as fast as possible, but I ran two errands on the way home – I stopped and bought a headband so I can watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer when I work out (sweat’s been getting in my eyes after 10-15 minutes), and then I went to the Evanston Library.

That was cool because I had a humorous conversation with a random guy on the elevator about how bad global warming is and how the Trump administration is fucking us over.  I also bought an official EPL Peregrine Falcon t-shirt – you could probably look up the design if you want.  I wanted to buy one when they were selling them last year, because I wrote a book report about Peregrine Falcons in grade school which I still remember.  But I waited too long and they were out of my size.  Over the last few months they’ve had a few left, even though they’ve changed the design, but never XL.  Tonight on impulse I asked again and they had one, so now I’m happy.

Also I’m happy because I don’t have anything checked out from EPL anymore.  One of the most blatant pieces of evidence that I’m neurotic is that I check out dozens of books from the library that I have no time to read.  I used to have a whole shelf full of them and I was always having to pay fines on them.  But now I’ve only got Chicago Public Library books, which you can renew 12 or 14 times and keep for 6 months if no one asks.  All my EPL books are out of here and I resisted the temptation to check out more.  This is a great leap forward for me.

And someone I love but never get to see sent me a nice video on Facebook Messenger.  There seems to be a theme of communication and clarity.

So getting things done is the theme of this post-aspect evening, while I try to note what feelings build up to the Moon-Aries/Pluto-Capricorn square tonight.

Maybe it’s actually a good thing, maybe it’s making me lighthearted and cavalier about the world’s problems?  I don’t know.  It doesn’t feel too bad.

Moon squaring Mercury tomorrow at 7:52 – am I even going to notice?  We’ll see.  But Mercury squares Jupiter at 9:15.  So there’s a general conflict with Mercury in the morning.

And In addition the Moon opposes Jupiter at 8:01.  So both Mercury and Jupiter are out of joint in the morning.  This could be big.

Then the Moon is trining Saturn right after that at 10:50, and that’s it until semisextile with Venus at 7 pm.  So I’m predicting that things will feel shook up in the morning and then by 10:50 they’ll be calmed down again for the rest of the day.  Venus and Saturn rule Libra so it may feel balanced?

Friday however is the big day.  Venus enters Aries at 9:51 AM, but there are also a lot of aspects that are great on their own – Moon sextiling fantastic Neptune at 2:10 PM, when I’m usually taking my last lunch of the week.  I’m looking forward to a blissful start to the festivities then.

Mercury semisextile Saturn at 2:50.  Since I have no idea what that should feel like, I’m going to pay close attention.

Moon squares the sun after 11 PM but that could be exciting.  This is an interesting idea to explore as Moon opposing Sun, i.e. full moon,  is usually great fun for me.  What do squares, or quarters do?

Mars in Aries was amazing, everything I could have hoped for and more.  Nothing has let up since then. It really feels like a new world.  I’ll be paying close attention to that, and also looking forward to Mercury transiting to Aquarius next week.  Aquarius is proving to be very beneficial for my writing so I wonder if something will happen then?
