Jason Cunningham works with an angel named Kara to give advice on life issues in terms of spiritual growth and soul purpose.  He reads auras and uses astrological information to illuminate patterns of behavior, and also has attunements in Reiki, All Love, and Reconnective energies.  He has taken classes with [someone] and [someone else], and he is also a member of the Chicago branch of the International Association for Near-Death Studies, for which he is the bookstore manager.

I am so tired, but I had to record a few Buffynicities before bed.

Yesterday Venus entered retrograde and two things happened – I wore one of my old Lady Death t-shirts for the first time in years, because my weight is down to what it was 12 years ago, and still dropping.

The other was, in the Buffy episode I watched, Buffy dropped a pen and it fell down where Miss Calendar’s old disk had been.  At first buffy missed it but then she had “deja vu” which made her bend down and look again, and find it.  This was a relatively minor reference to Venus retrograde, but still cool.

Then as I remarked before I had been researching the Egyptian Ogdoad, with its ancient gods of darkness, and this was relevant to the experiences I have been having over the last week and how they related to Angel summoning the ancient darkness.

But more importantly, I have been using the Egyptian Lenormand card deck, and yesterday I “activated” card 33, “The Key”.  I wanted to attract into my life the key to understanding these nebulous energy states I get in where I see all kinds of things but don’t understand what they are.  It is sitting on my altar now.  Then in the Buffy episode everyone was telling Angel “You are the key”, and Angel even says “I am the key,” and it is his blood that makes the ritual work. I will have to think about what this means, but it was a definite Buffynicity.

I was watching that episode while Mars trined Saturn and I think that went very well with the clarity of my Angelic perceptions.

Then in the evening John’s circle took place during the buildup to Moon-Gemini squaring Chiron-Pisces.  It was very powerful and one of the women I worked with in the dream circle had a very definite vision of “The Blue Lagoon” in Iceland, where she had visited last year.  This relates to the Buffynicity I experienced yesterday, recounted in one of my most recent blog entries, the picture of Christopher Atikins showing up on my Pinterest feed, and then the joke about it in the episode “Go Fish”.

So that’s very nice, because I was kind of wondering if that particular Buffynicity was strong enough to matter, and this is validation that it was and that my Buffy adventure is truly shamanic.
