The Buffy Diaries: Aspects 3-23-2017 part 4, Predictions

Tomorrow the moon is trining Jupiter and then sextiling Mercury, Uranus, and Saturn.  It’s like a big ski slope, building momentum all afternoon into the evening.  I have to debate whether to go see “Logan”.  Logan’s really old in the movie, it might be appropriate to be getting out of it right when the Moon sextiles Saturn at 12:56 AM.

I think I’ll have to see “Near Dark” on Saturday.  Moon will be in Pisces, anyway, thank God.  The most boring Moon (Aquarius) will be over.  Perhaps I’ll try to be awake, as the Sun conjuncts Venus only 11 minutes later.  It could be cool.

I’ve got a group ritual Saturday evening during the leadup to the Moon sextiling Mars, and Near Dark will probably be ending right around that time.  The movie starts at midnight and the sextile is at 1:42 AM.

I’m so tired now I want to sleep but I’ll note there are three conjuncts on Sunday when I expect to pick up a graphic novel I’ve wanted for years at Graham Crackers (They’re having a sale) and the moon will be sextiling Pluto in the afternoon while I’m watching Blade Runner, back at the Music Box for the second time in a weekend.

It seems like an interesting idea to see three movies in one weekend.  Sounds like a plan, just for the Piscean fuck of it.

But I’m too tired to think about this seriously now.  Good night.

The Buffy Diaries: Aspects 3-23-2017 part 3: Headphones

Continuing with aspects and other synchronicities:

I forgot to mention in my last post that it was a big deal that the demon only wants cash for the Books of Ascension, after I had just been thinking about all the cash I would have to take to C2E2 to get autographs.

Moving on, I worked downtown today.  The last time I worked downtown I wrote about it on this blog.  I broke my headphones and I was so impatient to listen to music that I went across the street to a drug store to buy some cheap replacements, lime green "sport headphones", supposedly durable though not as good sound quality, even though I had another pair of Skullcandy 50/50s at home.

So I used the lime-green ones for four hours and then switched to my 50/50s, and then I ordered a replacement pair of the same model, super-cheap from an e-bay store out of China that took longer to ship.  Well, yesterday, the day before I had to go back downtown to work, I broke that spare pair of 50/50’s so I had to use the lime-green sport replacements.  I just find that fascinating that I was down there again today wearing the same pair of headphones.

And then the replacement pair I ordered all the way from China just arrived today.  They were waiting for me when I got home.  I really need to go back to my blog and see what else happened that day.

I’ve figured out a way to get deeper with my blog is to record each aspect and compare over time, i.e. each time the Moon trines Mars or whatever I would look back at the last time it did.

Moon sextiling Venus this morning was very fun.  I am getting my ability to work back.  I had a bunch of stuff to write but the Buffynicities I had just wiped it all out.  I’m still listening to Motorhead all the time.  It’s nice to have a “new” band I can get totally into.  I haven’t done this since I rediscovered Disturbed years ago.

I was ready to get out of there early, but then at the last minute everyone kept dumping stupid requests on me.  It was very frustrating, although I kept my cool I didn’t get out of there until 4:17, 17 minutes late and also only 3 minutes before the Moon squared Mars.  Even though squares are usually fun for me, this little upset seemed to be clear evidence of astrological timing.

Then I got home and although I felt pretty good, having completed a lot of the crummy paperwork last night, I wound up daydreaming again, as I said about Peter Dinklage in “My Favorite Year”, C2E2 upcoming, and Godot.  This went right up through Mercury squaring Pluto and here I think the nature of my daydream had something to do with the Buffynicities.

I’ll think about this more later, now I’m going to make predictions and go to bed.

The Buffy Diaries: Aspects 3-23-2017 part 2

I forgot to mention that Alt-Willow captures her first vampire slave by breaking two of his fingers, just like In Blade Runner, and that I had been thinking about Blade Runner earlier in the day.  However, it’s true that I think of Blade Runner every few days anyway.

But the most ridiculously absurd Buffynicity of all is that Buffy actually mentions Godot.  I mean how often do you hear “Waiting for Godot” referred to in a TV comedy?  I swear to God I was thinking of that title an hour earlier.  It’s totally fucking absurd and I think that’s the lesson here, life is really this absurd.

I’ll move on to other aspects in part 3.

The Buffy Diaries: Aspects 3-23-2017

After a lull yesterday, we are back in full force with bigger and badder Buffynicities than ever before.

First of all, the setups:

Before I went to run I went into a huge daydream where I thought about Peter Dinklage remaking “My Favorite Year”.  I thought his character would be slightly different from Peter O’Toole’s in the original, that he would know jiujitsu.

I was reminiscing about acting and actors, and for a moment I was also very specifically thinking about feeling guilty because I had never seen “Waiting For Godot”.

I went online to look at guests for C2E2, and I found out that the autograph booths only take cash.

Then I went to run and watch Buffy, not expecting much because yesterday was a bit slow.  I did, however, develop a greater interest in Eliza Dukshu and I look forward to watching “Dollhouse”.  I followed her on Twitter.

But then there were some interesting things.  Alt-Willow came back from the Matrix universe and was using Jiujitsu on a vampire in the street outside of Bronze.  That was kind of minor.

Then she was inside Bronze and she walked over to a girl at a table and right then a cop car out on the street beside me (the health club has huge windows all around) began flashing its blue lights and drove by.  I thought of “Blue Light”, the song by David Gilmour that I’ve always associated with Sandra, my angel of Saturn.  I thought that might be important and then Willow asked the girl what her name was and she said “Sandy”.

So that was pretty profound, a very fun Buffynicity because of the sudden overwhelming surprise of the flashing blue lights going off like a bomb.  Later in the second episode I watched, when the figure all in black (like Khan from Star Trek II or perhaps even an angel of Saturn) zapped away Angel’s soul with blue lights I thought that was also relevant.

This was actually very deep for me, the split-second timing of this and the brightness of the light were showing me that I am going through the looking glass with this.  As much as I’d like to stay detached from these events, I’m still going to report them in detail.

Buffynicity #3 was more minor.  Today I was looking at my first membership magazine for the Chicago Art Institute.  They are having “Whistler’s Mother” back through may.  Anya was in the episode tonight, and so was another demon who resembled “Whistler”, the demon who talks to Angel.  That’s not a very deep one, admittedly, but still a resonance.
