There was a fake minister in tonight’s episode of Buffy, who turned out to be some kind of alien or monster.  I went to see a psychic who has some problems with his rep because he got caught putting fake ads on Craigslist years ago.  I was a little suspicious but I wound up having a good experience. 

I’ve been very concerned with the ancient Egyptian goddess Mafdet for several days.  Her nickname was “The Runner” and in this episode Buffy was running the length of this long hall, setting all kinds of slaves free.

Furthermore, I have also been thinking for several days about Obsidian, a black glass that is used to make surgical instruments because it can be so sharp, and yet is still classed as a liquid, like all glass.  In this episode these weird beings were using a rectangular pool of shiny black liquid as a kind of magical portal to their hellish dungeon, which in many ways was the archetypal sphere of Saturn, and the occult dynamic of Dominion and Slavery, as everyone inside was a prisoner and time went faster there so the victims were old when they left.

All of this was related to the darkness in the recent cycle, the Egyptian Ogdoadic gods of darkness and water. 

But it makes me think I should be writing more detailed records of my thoughts because even though I have been thinking about Obsidian and “The Obsidian School” (a hypothetical Occult School based on the sphere of Saturn) a lot this week, I don’t believe I’ve written about it so I have no evidence or anything to refer to. It’s just really amazing to see Obisidan and a “runner” in this episode.

However, the big Buffynicity is that this afternoon, just for the hell of it, I was looking up “Kenku” who were “bird men” from the original Fiend Folio of Dungeons and Dragons.  They are like hawks or crows.  I had a dream once years ago that one of my angels was one of these.  I was noting that they worship Pazuzu who is an actual demon from world mythology.  An evil spirit who is invoked to protect from other evil spirits – very much like the Buffy character Angel I wrote about yesterday. 

And then in tonight’s episode all the victims of the “Saturn people” were going around mumbling “I am no one”, which is a famous line in the movie “The Exorcist" – in which Linda Blair’s character is possessed by Pazuzu.

So this is showing me some interesting things and can’t wait to see what clues I get next.
