The Buffy Diaries: Aspects 3-8-2017

The biggest Buffynicity today is that Willow was reading “Call of the Wild” to Oz at the beginning of the 2nd episode I watched  I have been thinking for days about a copy of that I read in junior high.  It had “White Fang” on the other side and I have been thinking about a character I made up for the Buffyverse called “Fang”.  So my daily thoughts are showing up in Buffy with a great deal of consistency.

The Faith episode didn’t have a whole lot except I’m still trying to solve the mystery of “The Key”, the card from the Egyptian Lenormand deck which I activated right before I watched the end of season 2 when Angel was being told that he was “the key” and his blood was “the key”.  A guy named Scott asks Buffy to go to see Buster Keaton and he says "Keaton is key.“  Related to this, I was on Pinterest today, pinning a lot of pictures of early film actresses like Theda Bara and Marlene Dietrich.  I was reading about Virgina Rappe as well, who famously died in a scandal involving Fatty Arbuckle – so there’s a comedian from the same era.

Also the bad guy in that is "Kakistos” which is a little like “Kek”, the Egyptian Ogdoadic god I’ve been reading about recently.

And furthermore I was writing this weekend about Typhon, the “meme ass”, deciphering “Mimas”, the moon that inspired the Death Star from Star Wars, and then I got to see David Boreanaz’s brief nude scene at the end of the episode.

So I’m wondering now what thoughts I should be writing about.  I’ve been mapping my angels onto the girls of the Scooby Gang, and then today I was also looking up “Ah! My Goddess” as well.
